This is just a really quick and simple craft.

I wanted to grow some salad and herbs but instead of just leaving the pots on the windowsill and wondering what seeds were in which pot I knocked together these cute plant labels.

 

 

I used some mini pegs that I already had, coffee stirrers that I got from a coffee shop (free) a plain gift label cut in half and decorated with paper shapes.

See so easy, get the kids involved, let them pot up some seed and design their own label !

Shabby chic ideas for the home

 

Shabby chic bed side table.

 

 

Well I have well and truly caught the shabby chicing (is that a word?) bug!

 

I want to shabby chic everything!!

 I started small with the candlesticks and then went that had gone well I moved on to my first piece of furniture.

 

 

The bed side table was originally from Ikea but had seen better days. I had wanted to do something with it for a while and finally I got round to it.
